Planning & Development Applications

With experience in both the Victorian and New South Wales planning systems, CCS can assist with the management of your application through the application process. Including, but not limited to, pre-lodgement preparations and discussions with the local planning authority, the preparation of applications, lodgement with Council, community consultation (if required) and presentation to Councillors at meetings (if required).


Project management of subdivision applications

The process of applying for subdivision, civil works and certification approvals can be time consuming and complex. CCS can provide clients with the preparation of subdivision applications and project management of civil works, to completion of the project.


Planning Proposals and Planning Scheme amendment requests

CCS can assist both NSW local government authorities and private developers with the preparation of planning proposals to amend their local environmental plans in order to facilitate new development, protect the natural environment or reclassify public land.
We can also assist with requests to Victorian planning authorities to amend local planning schemes to facilitate new development or alter development controls.

Land use and development strategies and plans

Michele Bos has experience with the preparation of land use plans, strategies and policies for local government authorities. Michele is passionate and has highly developed skills in rural and regional land use management, obtained by living all her life in rural Victoria and NSW.

CCS has the capacity to develop land use plans, township and settlement strategies, commercial and residential policies and strategies to ensure that the local development is well-planned, orderly and sustainable.

Through demographic research and analysis, together with effective community and stakeholder engagement and collaboration, CCS can prepare plans and strategies to determine the demand for the provision of housing, transport, community, health and educational facilities, cultural and recreational facilities.


Community development plans and strategies

Community engagement and collaboration is a vital element in determining the needs, demands and aspirations of local and broad communities. CCS is passionate about how state and local authorities and collective individuals can influence and assist with the social, economic, environmental and cultural health and prosperity of their communities.

The preparation of these plans and strategies would include a focus on how the community can participate in the problem-solving and decision-making process, together with empowering community members with the capacity to effect positive change within their community.
